Songs of This Pebbled Shore was inspired by the words of William Shakespeare: Like as the waves make towards the pebbled shore, So do our minutes hasten to their end; Each changing place with that which goes before; In sequent toil all forwards do contend... All of these nine pieces reflect a musical interpretation upon themes of water: Shorelines, Waterfalls, Lakes, Oceans, Seas, Tides, Reefs, Islands...
