The Eldil of Malacandra are splendid beings of light; the messengers and servants of Oyarsa... Interestingly, as I was about to compose this piece of music, I was reading something about J.S.Bach with regard to his compositional process. Apparently, he loved to mix musical styles in a way that would turn conventional expectations awry in a captivating way. I took this to heart and the mix is clear and unmistakable. I never would have thought to include a rap element at all, but somehow it proved really useful and suitable, as you will hear...
