I was asked to play for a friend's wedding...I composed the processional "Forever", the title of which was chosen by the groom. Having lost his first wife shortly after she gave birth to their second daughter, the groom needs and wants his second marriage to be forever... When I played this piece for the betrothed couple on a lovely baby grand piano at a local hotel, the bride-to-be was dancing around the lobby and the piano with her "adopted" daughter, in sheer delight over my composition. The last section of the piece has the feel of rose or cherry blossom petals falling gently about the newly wedded couple... (art masterpiece courtesy Claude Monet)
