RED TIDE DEAD ZONE is about the envinronmental crisis, particularly with regard to the "Red Tides" and the "Dead Zones" in the oceans of our planet. The piece has a very ominous sounding 1st part, but then digresses into a place of restfulness (suggesting that we may finally wake up to our condition...). I suppose my intent is to make us take notice of how critical our environmental problems are and how we need to become responsible for the appropriate care of planet Earth. If we expect to survive and prosper as a species, I feel that we have no other choice. Yet will we do what clearly needs to be done?
